Is The Church Ready For A Spiritual Awakening?
March 24, 2010 0 CommentsDo you think that the Church is ready for a spiritual awakening? I sure hope so, because I believe that without spiritual awakening there is no revelation. In the Gospels Jesus said that he would sent the Comforter that would lead you into all truth. He also said that God seeks those that will worship Him in spirit and in truth.
Both of these statements treat the knowledge of God as being much more than memorizing scripture verses or acting holy. The first statement about being led into "all truth" has to do with our ability to discern the truth with the help of God's spirit talking to our own. Interestingly enough, Jesus never mentioned reading a book to find the truth. I am not against reading the Bible, but I firmly believe that our faith is to be in God.
The second statement about God seeking people that will worship Him in spirit and in truth is revolutionary. Revelation is given to those that seek the TRUTH and are willing to accept it. If someone thinks that they already know the truth it is difficult, if not impossible to receive true revelation from God.
I believe that God is searching far and wide for people that want to do good. People that are teachable and love the truth. We are at a critical time on planet earth and God is assembling an end time Army. While the Army of God may not look like much to some this will be the mightiest Army ever assembled. Why? Because they are led by the Spirit of God and they have already been set free by the TRUTH.
The world is in desperate need of real goodness and real truth. God is providing it those who want it.Will the church open it's heart and it's mind to receive divine revelation from God? Many will. Spiritual awakening is coming... truth is coming... freedom is coming... and God is here.
Ask God for wisdom and revelation. Ask God for a heart like His. He will answer! It's time to change the world and He has been saving you especially for this time.
